I am a speech therapist in the Edmonds School District. I work at Spruce Elementary and Maplewood Center. I earned my Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Western Washington University in 2007. I earned my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) in 2008. I also maintain my Educational Staff Associate certificate with the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and my Speech/Language Pathologist license through the Washington State Department of Health (DOH). Most recently, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2014.

I work with students who have difficulty making speech sounds, students who have a hard time using or understanding language, students who stutter, students with autism, and many more! Lots of kids need help figuring out how to communicate and understand when people talk to them, and my job is to help them do it. I like my job a lot.

In my spare time I love bicycling, reading, travel, running with my therapy dog Ginger, swing dancing, and remodeling my house.
